WORK EXPERIENCE:
1992—present: Accounting Supervisor, GHI Products, Columbus, North Carolina.
Responsibilities include direction of all cash activities; supervision of staff of 56 persons (expanded from 43 in 1992); and preparation of tax documents and annual financial statements for a small electronics company, whose annual income is in the range of $2-$3 million.
During my tenure at GHI, sales have expanded by 10-15% annually, while operations expenses have seen an annual average reduction of 5%, exclusive of expanded payroll.
Most of the savings have been the result of new cost controls I’ve instituted in accounting procedures.
