EMPLOYMENT HISTORY
1/90 to present: ABC Publishing Company, sponsoring editor, modern languages and education. I have contracted for thirty books: twenty-five in modern languages and five in education. I have transformed the education list from collection of small-market supplementary texts into a well-developed, competitive list of basic, undergraduate texts.
1/82 to 1/90: American Textbook Development Company, managing editor. As managing editor, I planned and conducted one- and two-day workshops to present and demonstrate new modern language publications and programs to high school teachers and administrators and to college instructors. Sales in the northeast territory increased 40 percent during my tenure.
I also directed, developed, and administered the publishing program and staff selection, training, and supervision.
