OBJECTIVE

A senior editorial/product development position in the social/behavioral sciences in college textbook publishing. I am qualified to acquire and develop major-market, undergraduate textbooks in psychology, sociology, anthropology, education, and modern languages. I am especially interested in applications of survey/market research in conceptualizing and developing a new product and have been involved in recent efforts in my present position to investigate new product development systems and procedures.

SUMMARY

I am currently a sponsoring/acquiring editor at ABC Publishing Company and am responsible for texts in education and modern languages. I am also involved in marketing, advertising, and promotional activities for education and modern language texts. Prior to joining this firm, I was the managing editor of the American Textbook Development Company, where I had eight years in sales and marketing, editorial, and management.
